Bren My dog breaks out in a severe rash on her chest sometimes when she comes in contact with something outside. I put this product on a cotton ball and apply, and its completely gone in a couple of days. It doesnt burn, its ok if i put it somewhere that she licks. Love this product, I even use it on myself.

Big Al Vetericyn contains the identical ingrediants as Puricyn/Microcyn wound wash and is manufactured by Oculus. I confirmed this with my dermatologist who confirmed that many veternaian products are the same as those for human use, but cannot be sold as such per federal law. The price savings is substantial.Compare the ingredients of both.

INGREDIENTS:

Electrolyzed Water (99.97%), Sodium Chloride (NaCl) 0.023% and preservatives, Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl) 0.004%, and Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) 0.003%.

HorseGalRaye Apply as often as possible to keep wound wet.

It is a 'super-disinfectant', killing 99.99% of ALL bacteria (even MRSA), fungus, etc.

It usually doesn't sting, and even soothes itching from insect bites and rashes.

It out-performs every vet-suggested wound treatment I've ever used, and every human wound care I've used except for my Dunnaliela Algae cream.

Dog Lover Denise My Bud is 13 and started getting skin sores on his back. The Vetericyn was so helpful. He didn't like it when I sprayed it on so I spray it on a cotton ball and wipe on him. I'm so glad I found it.

Horselady I bought this product for my horse. He suffers from rain rot, sun poisoning and the usual nicks from being in a pasture. This helps heal the rain rot which is a major problem for him.

Candy My vet-tech daughter told me to purchase this to treat hot spots and wounds my dog creates by licking himself. I am unable to change his behavior, but vetericyn helps me keep him from getting infections. I have been using it for a long time. It saves me from excess trips to the vet.

Susie I am reasonably pleased with the general use of this product for basic skin issues with my three dogs.

However, I am confused as to what is in it. The Hot Spot Spray, Wound and Infection Care, and the Ear Rinse, all list Hypochlorous Acid 0.003% as the only active ingredient. The inactive ingredients are the exact same also. However, the cost is quite different and the uses are different for the exact same thing!

Can someone explain this? Has anyone noticed this? What about the makers of the product? Can they explain why the price difference, usage difference? It would seem, though from a laypersons point of view, that these products could be sold in the same bottle and marketed as a multi-purpose solution...if you wanted.

Am I wrong? If so, why? I have been a loyal consumer for quite some time and have even recommended your products, but this discrepancy has made me curious, to say the least.

Sincerely,

Smith Family

mum I used this product as directed & the dog developed more hot spots. Unfortunately, I had to take her to the vet & she was given steroids & antibiotics.

Joan I use this product on our horses. It works great! We have used at least 3 bottles of Vetericyn so far.
